AI Strategies for the Future: A Recap of the IHK Berlin Event on ChatGPT and Midjourney
The future of artificial intelligence is now – and we are in the midst of a technological shift that will have a lasting impact on our working world. On June 27, 2023, I had the honor of speaking at the IHK Berlin event “ChatGPT and AI: Recognizing Opportunities and Securing Competitiveness?” Together with more than 300 participants, we explored how businesses can leverage AI to enhance their competitive edge.
Practical Insights: How to Write Effective Prompts?
A key point of my presentation was how to get the best results from AI tools. We focused on prompt engineering, discussing:
- How to craft effective prompts for ChatGPT?
- How to create visually appealing images with Midjourney?
- How to combine both tools to generate complete social media posts?
The interactive part of the session was particularly exciting, where we explored AI’s possibilities together and developed new creative approaches.
From Theory to Practice: Experiencing AI in Action
The event provided an exciting opportunity not only to discuss the latest developments in artificial intelligence but also to demonstrate them firsthand. The focus was particularly on two outstanding technologies: ChatGPT and Midjourney.
- ChatGPT 4.0: With over 400 plug-ins and real-time internet access via Bing, this language model has evolved significantly. Its applications range from text generation to automated communication and support in creative processes.
- Midjourney: An AI-powered image generation tool that is increasingly establishing itself as a serious alternative to traditional stock image providers like GettyImages and iStock. During the session, we tested how Midjourney can create impressive visuals based on simple text inputs.
Engaging Discussions and Expert Perspectives
In addition to sharing my insights, I had the privilege of sharing the stage with Boris Diebold, CTO of HeyJobs. Boris provided fascinating insights into how companies can successfully implement ChatGPT and harness its potential for business growth.
The discussion made one thing clear: Artificial intelligence is no longer a distant vision – it is a reality. Companies that invest early in AI and implement it strategically will gain a clear competitive advantage. One particularly interesting aspect was the discussion about which professions will become more relevant due to AI. Together, we offered a glimpse into upcoming trends and challenges.
Conclusion: AI as an Opportunity for Businesses
The event convincingly demonstrated that interest in AI remains strong. The active participation and in-depth discussions reflected just how much this topic is currently shaping the business world. However, beyond the fascination for new technologies, a strategic approach is essential: How can AI be deployed to create real value?
My personal highlight: This blog post was created with the help of ChatGPT, and the accompanying image was generated using Midjourney – a perfect example of how AI is already transforming the way we work today.
